My kids always come up with some imaginative excuses for not wanting to do their chores! Todays excuse is a good one. I never thought I would hear from my kids mouth "but MOM I have to read my Scriptures first!!!" Brock gave this excuse this morning and how could I argue with it? So I let him go read his scriptures and then he had to come do his chores! Wow! maybe I am doing something right afterall!

Amazing!!! I hope someday that happens to me! I hope i teach my kids well enough that i will hear that excuse too!
