Way to start a vacation!!!

Well we arrived in colorado and things seemed to be going good till this morning. Brock went out to bring the garbage can back in for his grandma. We think he got sprayed by a skunk. I immediatly sent him to the shower! I still am smelling skunk! After we got that cleaned up we had to take Chantel to the Animas Surgical Hospital emergency room. Last night she bumbed or should I say hit her elbow on the corner of a bookcase. Her elbow is pretty swollen and bruised. At least it is not broken. I will have pictures for everyone when I get back.

Best Friend

Last night I had to discipline Kade (as all mothers of three year olds do)and in the middle of telling him what his consequence was going to be he started crying and with tears going down his cheeks said "mom I just want to be your best friend". I fell to pieces and just hugged him and started to cry myself.

Ward Pioneer Party Fun

Dad and the kids had fun in the pole pull, of course dad always won! It was cute to see Daniel who is six foot something and Kade who is only 3 feet at the most try a match of their own! When it was clean up time Kade got in and helped while the other two were no where to be found!

Kreative Kids

The kids got a little to bored this week, so we went to michaels and bought the one dollar build and paint kits. They had race cars, tanks, helicopters, and kade found a little wooden truck that he wanted to paint. On thursday Chantel and Brock worked together to build a log home and play yard.

Showdown on Sunday

Sunday evening Kade came out of his bedroom ready to fire. It wasnt long before all of us were involved in the fun. It was fun to discover all the hidding places we now have in the new house. Most of the fun was running around the island in the kitchen and trying not to get hit in the rear with a dart.

Fun on the Fourth!

The day went pretty good for us. Kirt went swimming with the boys to cool off . Kade and Kirt found the water guns and used Brock as a target. Later in the evening we went to a friends house for dinner and fire works. Kade had fun jumping on the trampoline (that was only one foot off the ground) and then trying to help play ping pong with his dad. At first Brock couldn't keep the ball on the table.
