These are the things I am NOT getting done today! I still have pictures in my hall way that need to be hung, and closet doors that still need to be bought. My Daughter s room still needs blinds, curtains and furniture for her room. My Laundry is piled on my couch with loads still in the washer and dryer. I purchased books on how to make curtains and still dont have material or the time to make them yet! ( I think the sheets and tacs are starting grow on me, not!) I also have to fix and upholster Kirt's rocking chair that we inherited from his Grandmother. I also have to get my kitchen cleaned from having family home evening group last night. I also have to decorate the kitchen and remodel the playroom . Anyway, this is just a short list of the things that are bugging me that I have not or dont have any inspiration to do them yet!

Worksheets for Kade

I was looking online for things I could print for Kade to work on while the kids are at school. I cant take him to preschool yet so I decided to work with him at home. I found these free printables that I am going to have him do. He loves things like this and is really eager to learn so I am going to take advantage of this. They also have dot to dots and trace and color pages. They have lots more stuff I will search through later, but I thought I would share this find. The site is www.kidzone.ws

We have the privilage of having the elders in our home often and love the spirit that they bring. We also get to know and love them. Elder M.( the one in the grey suit) is no exception. It is hard to have these guys come into our home and let them go when transfers come. Next transfer we'll have to let Elder R. go.

I have to give a BIG THANK YOU to my big and little helper ! My dear husband stayed up till midnight three nights in a row to cut out wooden christmas trees for our wards craft day! Our scroll saw broke so he had to use a jigsaw. My little helper was trying his hardest to be just like dad!

Continued Monday Memory!

I also rember the snipe hunt my Sister (mommyx5) blogged about and picking out the cactus needles for her. I felt so bad for her and that it hurt when I pulled them out. I also rember as we were running back to the blazer someone asking why the wolves were cussing too! I later came to find out that as we were running back they were chasing us and falling into cacus too! I cant rember which one had more needles in him Lee B. or Byron W. ? I told them that they deserved all the needles that they got!

Playing in the rain

Saturday while my husband went to Colorado I took two of the kids and went to Snowflake to visit a friend whose husband was in a softball tournament. During the last game it started to rain. At first Kade cried because of the thunder and the rain, but after seeing his friends still out playing in rain and jumping in mud puddles he decided to join them.

Friday fun!

On Friday I was a little bored. So to keep Kade and myself busy we went to Michael's and he got another race car to paint and I bought a few things. We both painted, stamped and glued! I had a lot of Fun watching and helping Kade and letting myself be a little creative. I dont know who had more fun, Kade or Me!

Family Home Evening Group activity

Last night for FHE we had a lesson on the scriptures. One of our activities was to pick a scripture story and make a clay model of it, or something that represents the story. We had a lot of fun trying to guess what the stories were! The first picture is of Nephi returning to get the brass plates and the fourth one is of the good samaritan. ( I can only guess is that the green clay guy is doing cpr on the red one)

First Day of School:) :):)

I think I was the most excited to have school start again! Brock was excited enough that he got in and had his chores done before school. Kade loved having the playstation to himself, and I dont think Chantel was all that pleased with getting up and having to be ready to go! I think some of us girls should have a back to school lunch party!!!

Visiting Teaching Tag

I have to show this off, even though I did not make it! My sister in law and my dear mother in law made this. My mother in law is relief society president in her ward and is getting ready for a V.T. seminar. I thought these were soooo cute I might make myself one and hang it on my fridge. (Just so I could have some where to put my list of the girls I see and and maybe an info card about each one)

Having Fun:)

I had the "opportunity" to watch some of the cutest kids for and hour or two and they were havin a blast with water and paint brushes on a agua doodle mat and then playing with all the toys in the toy room! What amazed me was that I actually got the room cleaned up with them in it!!

I couldn't help it!

This little guy has not fallen asleep like this since he was in a high chair! So, I just could't help taking the picture and posting it! I hope he wont hold this against me when he is older! (he he)

16 Years!

This week Kirt and I will be married for 16 years! I am sitting here trying to put in words (which don't come very easy for me) how to describe the past 16 years. Some of the words are:

Awesome, Amazement, Joy, Love, Unconditional, Learning, Teaching, Leaning, Giving, Taking, Patience (sometimes extreme patience), Discernment (I am still learning when to hold my tongue and when to say what I need to), And last but not least, Thankful, I am thankful for Kirt and all that he has sacrificed(another word) for me and our family, and that he is my husband !!!

Her New Do!!

Chantel wanted a change and she got it! She had over six inches cut off! Thanks Jessica for the all that you did!!! I think she looks awsome and all grown up! Think I want to cry, she looks like such a young women now!

Vacation pictures!

Here are some pictures of our vacation in Colorado! The kids always love it up there. Thank you Grandma for everything you did for us!!! We love you so much! In one of the Pictures, A.B, one of Brock's friends, is shown holding up a 26 to 28 inch Northern Pike that he caught. The weather in Mancos was beautiful. The rain and the nice cool weather really made it hard to come home to the heat, But, we are home and glad to be sleeping in our own beds.

Way to start a vacation!!!

Well we arrived in colorado and things seemed to be going good till this morning. Brock went out to bring the garbage can back in for his grandma. We think he got sprayed by a skunk. I immediatly sent him to the shower! I still am smelling skunk! After we got that cleaned up we had to take Chantel to the Animas Surgical Hospital emergency room. Last night she bumbed or should I say hit her elbow on the corner of a bookcase. Her elbow is pretty swollen and bruised. At least it is not broken. I will have pictures for everyone when I get back.

Best Friend

Last night I had to discipline Kade (as all mothers of three year olds do)and in the middle of telling him what his consequence was going to be he started crying and with tears going down his cheeks said "mom I just want to be your best friend". I fell to pieces and just hugged him and started to cry myself.
