Easter Egg Hunt 2010

Waiting...

I am waiting for the mack truck that hit me a little over a month ago to come back and finish the job! (hehe) I have been so sick for the past month and a half ! I am so ready to be well again and get back to being a mom and doing all the things I want to do each day. Hopefully that will be soon. I am doing better a little at a time and I have good days and bad. I am so grateful for a wonderful husband that has take soooo much on.

A BIG Thanks to every one that has helped us out and Thanks for keeping us in your prayers .

• This is something I inherited!
• Do I want this? NO!!!
• Do I have to go through this! Yes!

For some reason I have to live through this disease everyday of my life. I have to live with Bloody stools and cramping, and being doubled over in pain. I have to live with the fact that I have anywhere from 5 to 10 movements a day and I usually cant make it to the bathroom before I have an accident! I have to live with not being able to eat anything solid for weeks on end because my colon thinks that food is an enemy. My colon is basically eating itself up.

So please have patience with me! Please do not get mad at me if I cant do something you think I should be able to do! I am mad enough for us all! Please let me cry when I need to! I don't like this anymore than anyone else! I cant pretend I don't have it! Especially when I am going through a bout of this disease. I will try my best to take care of my family and make sure things get done. I know I am not the only one that has this. There is no cure for this! I have taken all kinds of medicine and supplements and NOTHING has worked! The only cure is to get rid of the colon, which for some people is not an option!

Weeee...

This is what I got for my Birthday!! I am so excited:) I worked out with it for the first time yesterday. Soo Fun! I am not looking for a huge weight loss but at least it will get me up and active. All three of the kids are doing it too! It is a competion to beat each others score. I just love it when I can beat my own scores!

She had a birthday....

And she is shouting Hooray! She turned 16!!! She has not had a real birthday party since she was 4 or 5. So we pulled out the stops and let her have one.

My Very Talented SIL, April, made this cake for her!

Oh it was sooo YUM!

Friends had fun sitting at the fire pit trying to stay warm and roasting hot dogs.

There was also the fun of watching movies, jumping on the trampoline, and talking and doing the things that a bunch of teenagers do! It was a good night.

A big THANK YOU to my Wonderful husband for putting the lights up and getting everything ready outside!

Temple Christmas Lights

I had fun experimenting taking pictures in the dark while we walked around the temple grounds for FHE.

The Hat

This Kid is in love with the Santa Hat. He wears it whenever he can. He has been wearing to bed for the last week.

A Christmas Concert

Brock got to play a Piano Solo at his schools Orchestra Concert. He did an awesome job. So proud of him:)




He also plays the cello. This kid amazes me. He doesnt have to look at the music he has it memorized.

Shout Hooray!

We Had a Birthday!!!

He Chose the decorations for his Lightning McQueen Cake. As you can see he wanted white frosting sprinkles and m & m's for the eyes mouth and head lights.






He got his Bumble Bee Bionicle from mom and dad and the Cars Card Games from Grandma and Grampa D. He couldn't have been happier:)

What a good way to start our ThanksGiving weekend!

You dont happen to have....

a teenager at your house do you? This was the question I was asked by my sister when she called me on my cell phone to ask me a question. She had tried to get a hold of me on the home phone but all she could get was a busy signal.



I had to take pics to document just how homework was getting done at our house tonight and to show off my great multi-tasker! hehe



At least Bk doesnt have a cell phone yet! I can wait a little while more for the teenage phone wars to start.

First Hunt

Over October break BK got to go on his first Hunt. I didnt expect for him to come home with anything; but he did. I have never seen a bigger grin on his face.

A Distraction

My little Man has been sick for three days with the stomach flu. Today he is feeling better but not completely over being sick yet. This morning he found a distraction. He put water in some glasses and started playing notes and singing songs. He was having tons of fun. He had fun with the food coloring and mixing colors too. After he was done with that he even got into taking a picture or two. (the second picture he took)

Some relief.....

Well my foot is not broken, Thank Goodness! I am supposed to stay off of it for a week! HAHA! If it still hurts like it does after a couple more weeks I will have to go back in and they will refer me to a specialist! I am hoping that it will heal fast so that I can get back to wearing shoes and not just flip flops.

a little warning..

Nope it was not on. Thank Goodness:}

Today I spent the morning in the dr's office and then went and had my foot x-rayed. It is possible that it may be broken and I will have to spend a week with crutches or sent to a specialist. Hopefully it is just bruised. I am supposed to stay off my feet for a few days. Woudn't it be nice if I could get some help from the kids and hubby while I rested my foot! SOOO not going to happen.;) lol. Tomorrow I find out the results. Whoo Hoo!

Wishing

Wishing I had something really wonderful to post about. I don't.

Some of the things that have happened after the last post have been:

• My husband and I got to go out to dinner for our anniversary
• All of us have been sick and had to have antibiotics and found out that Brock is allergic to penicillin.
• Struggled with sick kids and sick me while my husband was out of town for four days.
• Thankful a friend invited me to lunch a couple of times. What would we do without friends?
• Babysat nieces and nephews while their parents go to the temple or work. Fun to have them.

So nothing really exciting but just enough to keep me busy and some what out of trouble. lol.

18 Years...

And Counting!

I love....

I love my three kiddos! I also love it that they begged me to take them to the Temple and take pictures of them. What a fun morning we had walking around the Temple grounds and touring the inside of the Visitor center. What a good way to spend one of the last days of summer vacation!

IN

My little man wishes he could spend all day outside playing with his trucks! (I wish he could too) But, with the temp close to 112, mom just wont let him.




So he spends most of his day inside. One of his favorite things to do this summer was to play with his home-made shield and plastic sword. Who knew something so simple could occupy him for hours on end? I love it that he has an imagination. It is amazing to see what he comes up with.

The Queen

I finally had a few minutes and so I did a layout! Kade did six weeks of swimming lessons and did awesome . The last two weeks of lessons Brock took the swimming/life saving merit badge class. I was so proud of him for sticking it out and overcoming his fear of diving of the high dive. (his last time diving was pretty scary even for me) Good job boys!

Spinning

This summer has been crazy! My husband and I both agree that this picture represents how life has been for us the last three Months or so! I am ready to get down off the ball and hand over the spinning to someone else. I think I am in need of a serious vacation. I dont think that will happen with school starting in 3 1/2 weeks.
